Volleyball Drills – Very Important Volleyball Beginner Drills
Volleyball Beginner Drills
You are going to need some very important volleyball beginner drills to help you learn the game of volleyball. A lot of Coaches have set up certain drills for you, if you are a newbie at the sport. They only set them up to help you improve your game as well as the team. Here you will find a few basic drills.
Once you become a member of the team, you and your team mates must learn how to rotate smoothly and quickly. This will help you as a team member focus on that position, so when you get back to that spot you will know exactly what it is you are supposed to be doing. It also helps you focus on the other position as well.
As a player you must enjoy the game, because if you enjoy it you will play your best and you will have fun. But, you must learn how to dig or set the ball to your team mate that is holding down the feeder position. This person holds down the corner on the court.
There are some drills that you can perform on your own in your spare time or they can be done with the team. One drill you will learn is how to do sit ups while you pass the ball from one hand to the other, clockwise. This maybe hard at first, but with a little practice you will get the hang of it.
These drills are given by your Coach to help you as new comer and to help the team perform at their best. Some may even go as far as shorting or lengthen the court to improve the skills of the team. The Coach knows what's best, so listen, because this is a part of the drills that is most important for you and the team.
These volleyball beginner drills are not just for you, they are also for players who have been on the team for a while. Just because they have been on the team longer than you does not mean they can skip drills. This will help them stay on top of their game.
